Bear Facts

“The oldest known bear is believed to be 43 years old, a polar bear last seen in a tourist's photograph taken in 2013. Called "Spike" by her pursuers, she has eluded formal tagging for decades and is identifiable by her single canine tooth and dark patch of fur on the left side of her face. She is claimed to be responsible for the disappearances of two young children in 1994 and of the late Sir Rodney Callus's prized Narwhal, Sally.”
